The Kabilin Center welcomed beneficiaries from the Eduardo J. Aboitiz Cancer Center (EJACC) along with their families and caregivers as they took a tour of TKC’s “Duyan Ang Kadagatan (Cradled by the Sea)” exhibit. More than 50 cancer patients and survivors were treated to an afternoon of immersing with the culture of the sea with “A Dose of Vitamin Sea”, a psychosocial program held last April 8 and 15. After the tours, the guests participate in a workshop on creating their very own Shell-designed Frame to cherish their memories of the event.
Using small Sigay and Nassa shells, and with materials, such as a glue gun and a ready-made frame, the workshop participants were able to craft their own unique shell-decorated frame.
